These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mahjong Temple, including the Mahjong Solitaire game, guides, and related pages (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Mahjong Temple is provided as an online entertainment experience. Features, layouts, and content may change over time. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the Service for maintenance, security, or business reasons without prior notice, though we aim to avoid unnecessary disruption.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes attempting to disrupt or overload the site, probing for vulnerabilities in order to exploit them, scraping in a way that degrades service for others, or using the Service in violation of applicable law. Automated access that mimics human play at abusive volume may be blocked at our sole discretion.

No warranty (provided "as is")

Mahjong Temple is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Puzzle generation may occasionally produce unwinnable boards; scores and timers depend on your device clock and browser behavior.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mahjong Temple and its operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) zero dollars, since the Service is offered without charge.

Intellectual property

The Mahjong Temple name, branding, text, layout of pages, and original code and assets created for this site are owned by the project's operators or used under license. The game of Mahjong Solitaire and traditional tile markings are part of long-standing cultural and game-design heritage; we do not claim to own the abstract rules of Mahjong or the public-domain concepts of classic tile designs, but we do claim rights in our specific implementation, copy, and styling where applicable. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our proprietary assets or code except as allowed by the project's license when source is made available, or as permitted by law.

Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which supplements these Terms.

Third parties

The Service may reference or load third-party scripts (for example, optional analytics). Those services are subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify Mahjong Temple and its operators against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes
